    Hello parents and students! I am Alex from Honolulu, Hawaii. I graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a bachelor’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) with a minor in Writing Composition.
    I am a passionate teacher who has taught in South Korea for over four years. My passion for teaching has allowed me to have experience teaching both young and old. From my time teaching university-age students at Mid Pac College on the sunny island of Oahu to teaching six year olds in Yongin, South Korea, I have long been an active, bright, and excited educator to equally motivated students.
    I am excited to bring out students' potential through active communication and project-based-learning, and I truly believe that learning English is a key for young learners to join a global community.
    I always aim to have classes that are engaging, communication-based, and most importantly fun. My main goal is to give students a safe and fun classroom that allows them to have successful hands-on learning experiences.
    I am so excited to guide Biba students in their English learning journeys, and I am looking forward to joining the Biba team in giving excellent English education.

    · Hello dear parents and students! My name is Aylin Destan, and I am from Watertown, Connecticut. I have a bachelor’s degree in business in Resort and Hospitality Management from Florida Gulf Coast University.
    ·I also received a 200-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate which included teaching business English and young learners.
    I am a compassionate teacher who has been working with children for about 5 years now. I previously worked at Korea Poly School in Seoul, and I worked with special education students in public schools back in Connecticut.
    I always believe in having an interactive learning experience in the classroom to assist children in truly understanding the concepts and topics. Making things fun and interesting and encouraging speaking and participation will help students become confident in their abilities so that they practice and improve more and more!
    I am so excited to be working with Biba to encourage our young learners to love language and to have a good time while learning. Languages can be hard, but with kindness, patience, and passion I hope to teach them that it can be fun too!

    I graduated from Chichester University in the UK, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts, with Honours, in Film. I am a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certified teacher and this will be my second-year teaching English in South Korea. I have been working with children aged 2 ? 16 for 8 years, including working as an English teacher and even as an Art teacher.

    Hello! It is so lovely to meet you! My name is Ciara Brathwaite and I am from Baltimore Maryland. I graduated from Arcadia University in the beautiful city of Philadelphia with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. I have a diverse background within the Criminal Justice and Youth Development sectors.
    I was a youth mentor and advocate for system-involved kids here in the US for a year. Then I worked with a global nonprofit, the International Youth Foundation assisting with grants management for our youth centered programming throughout several countries.
    I also have 3.5 years of teaching experience, after receiving my TESOL certification in 2020. I have been teaching English as a second language to students in China from the ages of 4-11. Additionally, I have been a volunteer at the Preschool that my mother works at for years! I recently completed my 120 hour TEFL certification course as well as a 40 hour training course on teaching young learners specifically.
    I absolutely adore kids and love being able to draw a bridge between cultures and communication!     Hello everyone! My name is Cienna Libhart and I am from Santa Barbara, California. I graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience as well as Psychology.

    I have worked with students ever since high school and have always found those moments special and memorable. Because of this I decided I want to work with them and found myself as a teacher.

    Hello! My name is Emily and I will be your Mechika Blue homeroom teacher at Seongdong BibaKids! During my 1.5 years at BibaKids, I have worked on Biba’s Research & Development team, taught last year’s pre-Mechika class and most recently taught our inaugural class of first year seven-year-old students.
    Prior to joining Biba Kids, I was living in Chicago, USA working at Northwestern University supporting students and alumni engagement through philanthropy. In addition to my work experience, I have volunteered as an academic tutor and mentor for young students with various backgrounds and learning abilities for the last ten years.

    Hello! My name is Hanna Argabrite and I am one of the projects teachers here at Biba Seongdong, along with Mr. William.

    I am very passionate about art and inspiring students to use creative outlets to learn new things. I am starting my second-year teaching at Bibakids, prior to that I worked at the Simson Language institute for one year. Before moving to Korea, I attended West Virginia University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
    I worked as an elementary school teacher for two years in my home state of West Virginia. I am very excited for the new year and can’t wait to enjoy projects and get creative with your students!!

    Hello everyone! My name is Tanya Byrne and I am from Dublin, Ireland. I graduated from the National College of Art and Design, with a bachelor’s degree in Textile and Surface Design. I also have a TEFL certificate.
    I worked as a Kidswear Fashion Designer in Ireland. I have also studied and worked abroad in a few non-native English speaking countries, so I understand the importance of language learning and being able to communicate in a different language. This sparked my interest in teaching children and inspired me to obtain my TEFL certificate.
